Earlier, I commented in !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! asking if and why some of the photos appeared to have been edited by the author. My comment seems to have disappeared, presumably it was dismissed.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

I admit that my comment didn't directly relate to the content of the article. However, I was merely providing constructive feedback, while sat the same time seeking the answer to something that had confused me and likely others. If you wish to maintain a clean, clutter-free Car Buying blog and felt that such a post didn't belong (or if Nibbles just ate it), then I apologize.

My point was thus: These photos aren't "wallpaper material", they're just visual representations of the exact cars for sale. The versions in the original ads served that purpose. I can understand cropping and/or resizing, but why bother editing them further? They look like the were put through some HDR-like filter, and in my opinion, are worse off for it. The M5 is especially poor, with its blue paint now looking almost purple, and it's the lede image! Compare the original ad's photo (above) with what's in the article:

I don't think they look all that bad, but they certainly don't look any better that the originals that would've suited such an article just fine.
